1300 block of Peniston St.

Victim: 71-year-old female

Gist: A landlord went to check on his tenant, and observed the victim lying on her left side and unresponsive when he opened the front door.

Armed Robbery (Gun)

7:02 p.m.

3400 block of Louisa St.

Victim: 23-year-old male

Gist: A man pointed a handgun out of the window of a vehicle, and demanded money. He then took the victim's cash.

SATURDAY, DEC. 1

Homicide (Shooting)

2:10 a.m.

4300 block of Downman Rd.

Victim: 28-year-old male

Gist: The victim was found in the parking lot of a lounge, shot several times in the body. He died at University Hospital.

Homicide/Aggravated Battery (Shooting)

2:43 a.m.

2800 block of S. Roman St.

Victims: Tiara Reynolds, 28 (Deceased), 32-year-old woman, two males

Gist: Police arrived to the scene, and found four people shot. Reynolds was found lying on the sidewalk, shot multiple times. One male victim was shot in the head, and listed in critical condition. One man was shot in the body. The 32-year-old woman was shot in the arm.

2400 block of Odin St.

Victim: 16-year-old male

Arrested: 16-year-old male

Gist: The two were playing with a gun. The gun discharged, striking the victim in the face.

SUNDAY, DEC. 2

Aggravated Battery (Cutting)

3 a.m.

500 block of S. Miro St.

Victim: 41-year-old female

Victim: 19-year-old female

Arrested: 35-year-old male

Gist: The victim opened the front door when the perp entered armed with a knife and stabbed the victim in the face. The perp entered the bedroom and physically beat the second victim. At that time, she ran to the kitchen and armed herself with a pot in order to defended herself. The perp sustained a cut to the chest, and was treated at University Hospital.

4500 block of Cardenas Dr.

Victim: 56-year-old male

Gist: A witness heard the victim talking with another person. When she woke up Sunday morning, she found the victim lying on the ground unresponsive.

10:20 a.m.

3000 block of Elysian Fields Ave.

Victim 1: Shell Gas Station

Victim 2: 26-year-old female

Gist: A man entered the business with a towel over his face, and armed with a black semi-automatic weapon. He demanded money from the register and the attendant complied. He then turned to the woman, and demanded her belongings. The subject fled the scene with cash from the register and the woman's wallet.

12:20 p.m.

3000 block of Gen. de Gaulle Dr.

Victim 1: Magnolia Shell Gas Station

Victim 2: 45-year-old male

Gist: A store employee was approached by a man armed with a gun, who demanded money. The employee complied and the man fled with an unknown amount of cash from the register.

Aggravated Battery (Shooting)

2 p.m.

St. Bernard Ave. and N. Villere St.

Victim: 20-year-old male

Gist: The man was walking in the area when shots rang out. He sustained two gunshot wounds in the right hip and right hand.

Aggravated Battery (Cutting)

3:08 p.m.

4500 block of Hayne Blvd.

Victim: 16-year-old male

Gist: The victim got into a fight with another person, who tried by failed to tase the victim. The person then pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim to the chest. The victim was listed in critical condition.

Aggravated Battery (Cutting)

7:20 p.m.

Victim: 39-year-old woman

Perp: Kim Dumas, 39

Gist: The victim and Dumas got into a physical fight. Dumas broke a wine bottle, and stabbed the victim to the chest. The victim suffered minor lacerations.

Armed Robbery (Gun)

7:55 p.m.

2000 block of Lakeshore Dr.

Victim: 20-year-old male

Gist: As the victim opened his apartment door two unknown black males pointed a hand gun and demanded money. The victim was robbed of cash and various other items.

Aggravated Burglary

10:10 p.m.

5400 block of Pratt Dr.

Victim: 30-year-old male

Gist: The victim was hanging Christmas lights when he was approached by three men wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas on their faces, and armed with guns. They forced the victim inside and took several household items.

MONDAY, DEC. 3

Aggravated Battery (Shooting)

1:45 a.m.

1900 block of Seventh Street

Victim: 31-year-old female

Gist: The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the body inside the residence. She was transported to University Hospital in critical condition.
