T-Mobile is instituting a phone trade-in program, taking not only their own handsets, but a handset from any carrier and offering up to $300 that could be used towards the purchase of a new T-Mobile phone. The best part? You can put your trade-in money towards any phone, including some of their beastly 4G handsets.
Got an old flip-phone that’s collecting dust? Wanna trade up to the latest 4G device but watching the wallet? T-Mobile is making it even more affordable to upgrade with a new retail Trade In program that provides customers with the ability to trade existing mobile devices, from any carrier, for cash (up to $300) that could be used towards the purchase of a new handset – including any smartphone running on T-Mobile’s 4G network. Customers just need to go to any T-Mobile retail store with their old device, where a trained T-Mobile representative will determine the trade-in value of each device and a check for the quoted amount will be given to the customer via a mail-in rebate process. It’s a great way to step up to 4G without spending a ton.
