FTSE rises 0.50% at open (AFP)

LONDON (AFP) ? Stock markets rose slightly at the start of trading on Tuesday, but investors remained cautious over the Greek debt crisis, dealers said.

London's benchmark FTSE 100 index of top shares increased by 0.50 percent at 5,772.05 points, ahead of the publication of monthly public finances data.
