Workshop Description:
The CA Recruit process for 2012 has gone through a number of changes including the elimination of CACEE Forms. In its place is a CA Recruit application package consisting of your application form, cover letter, resume and transcript. With so many students applying for a limited number of positions, your application package will often make or break your chances of getting to the next stage in the CA Recruit ? the interview. In this workshop, we will share firm feedback regarding the do?s and don?ts when preparing your application form and provide you with everything you need to know to create a cover letter and resume that gets you into the ?yes? pile. Our goal at this workshop is to reassure you that the process is not as scary as you think and give you tips on how to tackle these important documents with confidence.
Please bring your resume and cover letter with you to this workshop so that you can add notes. Please review the Resource section on Beedie Community to access a 2012 CA Recruit application form, and the CA Recruit 2012 Resume & Cover Letter Tips sheets.
