It will be preferable to find out as much as the assignment wherever possible before commencement. Find out from your coordinator how?s the tutee has been doing at school and judge on your own whether you are capable enough to deal with such a tutee. Many tutors take up assignments hastily, only to give up short after as they are incapable of handle the tutee.
When it comes to negotiating rates with tuition agencies, it will be better that you are clear of what kind of credentials have you got that parents would be keen on. As in most cases, your credentials will be the only information parents have when deciding whether it be worthwhile to pay you more as a tutor. Therefore, it is very important spend a little more time in ensuring you state clearly your credentials such as your educational background and years of experience in teaching to tuition agencies to enable them to relay it to parents.
